When doing sightseeing in Wrocław, there are several must-see sites, which you are definitely going to see during our Wrocław City Walk.
The tour starts in the central part of the Old Town – the Market Square. The Old Town of Wrocław is a district full of narrow, cobbled streets, canals, bridges, church towers (Wrocław’s city center is located on 12 islands formed by the river Odra). The Old Town is where you will have a chance to spot the famous dwarves! You are also going to see the marvellous University buildings, believed to be the most impressive among all Universities in Poland.
Later, you will head for Ostrów Tumski, the oldest part of the city, dating back to the 9th century. In 1000 AD it became the seat of the bishop and ever since it has been a place of great royal and religious significance.
the tour can be extended to include the Centennial Hall – a UNESCO World Heritage site which is nowadays used for hosting sporting and music events. At the time it was constructed, it used to be considered a very audacious piece of early 20th century engineering.
