Kazimierz is well known as a district of contrasts. On one hand – a part of the city that was the most touched by its tragic history; on the other – teeming with cafes, restaurants and clubs, full of life during the day and night. On your tour you will be led through the mysterious, magical streets of that former Jewish Quarter. Before the World War Two it was a centre of cultural, social and religious life of Jews living in Cracow.
Kazimierz was also used as scenery for the Oscar winning film Schindler’s List. You cannot therefore miss the places filmed by Steven Spielberg. Afterwards, you will visit the most precious monuments of Jewish Culture in Kraków- Remuh Synagogue and Cemetery, Old Synagogue and the Museum located there.
The next part of the tour will cover the area of Podgórze, former Jewish Ghetto in Kraków with the Museum of Eagle Pharmacy.
The last stop will be the Museum of Schindler’s Factory.
