A trip showing the varied, and often unknown, images of Polish industry and the industrial landscapes of Masovia. To begin with, you will visit a the unique museum of old cars in Otrębusy. Among its exhibits, you can see the cars that belonged to Joseph Stalin and Marylin Monroe – let that fact speak for itself.
From Otrębusy you will head for the nearby town of Żyrardów and its impressive, 19th century textile mill. The factory is still active and its fabrics, which are sought-after all over the world, could make for a perfect souvenir. An employee will guide you through the halls of the factory. There will also be some time to do shopping in a local store.
The next destination of your journey is Łódź – the third biggest city in Poland with quite interesting history: the city bloomed in 19th century, when it became important and influential center of textile production.
